Old Rag Mountain Hike
Here are the pics from our hike this past weekend. I was off Friday, and the weather was calling for a 40% chance of rain in the afternoon, so we decided it would be a good day to hike Old Rag Mountain trail. The Old Rag Mountain trail is the most popular trail in the Shenandoah National Park and many people complain about the amusement park type lines that form while hiking up the mountain. Being November, a work day, and with a chance of rain, we took the chance that there wouldn't be that many people on the trail. We were right. We only saw a couple other people the whole hike, plus it never rained so that was nice. When we arrived at the trail there was a lot of fog, so we figured we wouldn't get to see any of the great views the trail is famous for. Thankfully the clouds broke just as we reached the top and we got some great views. Not as physically tiring as the last hike we did, but it was definitely more technically challenging. Everyone loved it (some even want to do it again), but everyone was excited to finally reach the parking lot a little after nightfall.
I think Ashley's leg is broke in the above picture. Poor child.

I can't believe your wife wore WHITE for hiking (and apparently stayed clean!).
